We're going to get back to basics -- and you can't get much more basic when it comes to Christianity than the creeds, particularly The Apostles' Creed. So, over the next seven weeks, we will be considering the essential statements in that creed ... and maybe a few other fun ones along the way, such as the question of why the asterisk (*) and omission of the line "He descended into hell," which is intriguing.
