The text for this Sundayfor the Old Testament reading is from Jonah, while the Gospel reading is from Mark. Both deal with being called: God calls Jonah a second time, and this time he answers. In Mark, Jesus calls the first four disciples and "immediately" -- a favorite word of the Gospel writer -- they answer the call.
